RE: United Way Designated Gift
While there are some procedural differences, all local United Way organizations have come to
recognize, and in fact are promoting, the right of the individual to designate the specific
organization to which they want their United Way gift to go.
The Camp needs your support through the designation of your United Way contribution.
Last year, we realized over $13,000 by this mean.
Our giving number is 00027. Designated giving forms are available from the United
Way of Southeastern PA (215-665-2500) or from your employee campaign chair.
If you are not in the United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania just use the full name and
correct address of the Camp.

Please be aware that the following deductions are made by the United Way before we
receive your contribution:
A deduction of an 11.3% fundraising and administrative cost as well
as a collection cost based upon losses/shrinkage incurred from employer
downsizing, voluntary departures, or cancellations, projected at 9-10%.
